I've got a shot of X300 in there that's been in there since last night and been run. As it's in my own home and I've all the time to care for it, are there any advantage in cooking it some more longer or should I be fine to drop it, flush and refill with X100?

be fine to drop it now have you got a nice full bore drain of ? im a lover of a lever valve through the wall

Ta. No it's not a full bore drain off, but it doesn't take too long. I have left it open and ran the filling loop for some time to help, plus I installed a Magaclean twin tec, lovely piece of kit.

following the bottle instructions will be fine mate, give it a good long flush and drop the inhibitor in, job done. Put a sticker on the boiler with the date you added the inhibitor to remind you of when it may need topping up.
