Clicking on 2 zone valve actuator

Hi

There is a clicking sound coming from a Drayton actuator controlling the hot water. I am guessing that the clicking means that the actuator is no longer working and is trying unsuccessfully to turn the valve.

Any ideas anyone

Could be the head, but on a Drayton, it could be the valve body sticking too causing the head to eventually burn out.
Best to replace with a complete Honeywell valve.

Is this an electronic contact clicking. Does hot water work??

For the price difference just replace complete valve,

It's faulty, I would put a new head on it & check the body / spindle is operating okay

Best put a new head. But make sure that you check the turns in the right way when actuated.

No the hot water is not working so I think the valve is not opening

Getting the same one as you have will make the best option.
