I see on their website they say it can be used for exterior use as well as indoors. Has anyone used it outside and had any problems with it? It is a lot easier to buy from plumbfix than having to buy from online

And blackbirds, starlings and squirrels. It must be great nesting material especially useful at this time of year.

Sorry, I don't know what goes on in a birds mind do I? Lol

Just speaking from experience.

Disintegrates eventually with uv/weather. I always use armaflex ht.

If manufacturers say its ok for outdoor use then it should be ok. If its to insulate a heat pumps primarys then the heat pump manufacturer will normally advise armaflex ht.

I use 150mm wide PVC tape, get it from merchants. Keeps lagging dry and sun free.

I cover it in waste pipe to protect it, then I cover that in rain water pipe to protect the waste, then I cover the rain water pipe with soil pipe to protect it, then I cover the soil pipe with a building to protect it. Then I ......... Oh wait it's now inside :)

The consultants I used to work for (many many moons ago) used to specify Foil faced Rockwool.

Highest spec of insulation going (I think) comes in many sizes and thicknesses and self sealing tape on the insulation to act as closure tape.

Downside, its very expensive.

Beware of any foam or rubber insulation materials these tend NOT to be UV stable and as someone said above it will go crumbly in time.
