Hi all. I have plumbed in new waste for dishwasher and washing machine out into the soil pipe in garden for the kitchen. The old waste went into an underground drainage pipe and I have to close it off now but the pipe protruding quite a bit above the floor in kitchen where the washing machine is going to go. This causes it to stick out of cupboard a bit. So I want to know the best way to close this off now as it won't get used again. Can I cover and cement over? Will need to cut it tho to bring level with the floor. Any ideas or options would be great. Thanks

Hi. Do you have a photo as I can't quite picture what you're asking.

I think from the description, that there is an old waste pipe that goes into the floor which he wants removing.

Cheers guys all sorted. Simple job where I looked into it a bit too much. Just had to knock a bit of the clay soil pipe out and cover with a fitting.
