I'm looking at a system fault on 2 of these next week, I don't know anything about them, not even the model. I have my commercial tickets and have worked on commercial boilers before but I'm just wondering if someone can brief me so I know what I'm going to?

It's just an old gravity system where iron pipework alone heats the church. I have been looking after one of these systems for years but this is in a different church. I assume this clydesdale boiler will be very old and basic from what they have said? I can't find any manuals on the net.

Pretty basic cast iron boiler much like a concord or diplomat. Nothing much to them.

Mike I have a load of commercial boiler manuals pm me your address and ill get her indoors to check

As Tamz said the Clydesdale is a basic 3 pass cast iron boiler. The burner is what you'll need the MI's for. Give Lee or me a shout regarding MI's. One of us should have a copy.

cheers for replies guys, made up with that response. Yea after this I asked my Dad if he had heard them and he thought they were just ordinary burners, not likely to be forced draught?

I'm used to working on Concords so if they are like these then that's great but even better if you guys have the MI's, never expected that. I will PM those who have offered some commercial boiler manuals as it seems the old ones are hard to find!
