Ive got a faulty radiator in my flat located in my lounge which does not warm up at all. Ive tried bleeding it and water drips out as you would expect. Ive also tried a technique of turning off all the other radiators in the flat, turning up the faulty radiator to full heat and leaving the heating running for a few hours. This would potentailly clear any sludge I was told. I still cant get any heat out of the thing though and was wondering whether there might be something else I could try. When the central heating is switched on I can feel water running through the pipes underneath the radiator but it isn't hot.

Would anyone be able to help me out?

Many thanks!

It does have a TRV fitted yes but Ive checked to see if the pin is stuck down already and its fine. Springs back up when you press it down by hand.

There doesnt appear to be hot water in the pipes leading up to the radiator ever. Could there be a problem somewhere before the radiator itself? All other radiators in the flat are fine though.

Thanks!

I would suggest to completely remove the TRV head from the valve and then try the heating without the trv head on see if it works if so then u definatly know theres a fault with the head.
