Have just drained system, removed an unwanted radiator and stopped its supply pipes, refilled system and now one radiator and its inlet & exit pipes remain cold although full of water - any suggestions. Discus

airlocked.
shut the working rads dow till the cold one heats then reopen the others.

you may want to count the number of turns you shut each valve.
if your systems been balanced properly you can put them back where they were.

Many thanks Sonray - I'll try your suggestion. discus

Tried your suggestion Sonray - same result, radiator full of cold water, everything else hot. It seems impossible to me, but removing a radiator and stopping off its supply pipes wouldn't have anything to do with it, would it. I cannot trace the pipe run because it's buried under a solid floor. discus
