gravity fed HW, pumped C/H.
the pump is working ok (new). have cleared a blockage from the cold feed.
rads upstairs heating ok but downstairs stone cold. I am getting water to all the rads,
Can one of you wise gents please help. thank you.

Sure the pump is spinning. Stick a screwdriver in to see if it stops. Failing that turn upstairs rads off to push air out of the downstairs rads.

Welcome to the forum :)

Sounds like a circulation problem. Upstairs will heat via convection whilst downstairs remains cold.

Try turning all rads off except for one downstairs.

What size pipework do you have?

pump is a new one and working fine, have tried all 3 speeds. have tried shutting down upstairs rads, still nothing. am getting water to all rads downstairs. thanks for the reply by the way. if i had hair i would have pulled it out by now..
