Been having some trouble with intermittent hot water in the showers/taps for a while now (was working for a couple of years normally but been getting progressively worse). At one point cold water was coming out from the hot taps.

I have a Worcester Bosch boiler and an unvented Megaflo system. In order to prevent cold water coming out the hot taps, I had to turn down the mains cold feed coming into the house. This allowed hot water to come out the hot taps but obviously kills the pressure when showering. Its working as a temporary fix for now!

Any ideas how to figure out how cold water is getting into the hot feed? Is this a Megaflo issue or a general plumbing issue?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

best to get a g3 eng to check the system and any showers
