I have a cold water storage tank in my bathroom. It is approximately 7 feet off the ground.

For a bath the cold water pressure is fine. However for a shower (hose connected to taps) the cold water pressure is too low, and the cold water literately does not reach the shower output. Therefore I get only hot water from the shower and this too hot for use.

I guess what I need is a pump? Can someone please advise.

take it back, convert the tank to mains feed only and shower may start to work, cant see why anyone ever leaves a cwsc in if they install a combi!!

Took one out that was doing the bathroom cold still and combi on hots as apparently the previous owner had been talked into the plumber saying 'when you flush the toilet it will affect the hot' maybe so but she was the only person living there so what did it matter !
