right then just a bit of theroy for u,,in all of the diagrams in my plumbing book of storage cistern's, it shows the draw off from the cistern,, to the cold water taps (for example).. droping vertically straight down,,to the outlets, which im guessing has good pressure,, but thinking about it,, the pipes are never gona fall straight down to every outlet,, the pipes are gona have to run horizontally at some point,, so will this effect the pressure of water, to a gravity fed shower for example. thanks men

to reply with a question, and DONT ANSWER IF YOU KNOW (experienced eng)

why does the outlet of the CWSC come from the bottom and not the side??

I very seldom see the water outlet at the bottom of a tank. If it is that position would it not let all the sediment flow down and the water would be dirty.Would be better 2" up the side of the tank.
