Dear Friends

I have a combi boiler at my house and when it was installed 5 years ago (Worcester Bosch) the filling loop was left with the 2 taps so I can refill the system if need be, although when it is serviced I am always told this is no longer the standard (advisory note).

My question is, if I did not have these 2 taps I beleive you need a filler loop? What are they? What do they look like? and how do you connect them to fill the system? Do all systems use the same loops? (i.e. size taps to connect).

Photo's / links welcome!!

Regards to all.

Rocket.

What do you mean by 2 taps? Are you talking 2 valves and a bit pipe between? This set up, although it was done, was never a legal way of doing it.

Worcester boilers have a space for an inbuilt filling loop which uses a key.
This video shows how that works

Another way is by using an external filling loop. Something like this. (Same video with a different method)

If you do have a couple of valves it is a straightforward job to fit a proper filling loop.

yeah, i have a filling loop with teh valves attached permenantely.

The lonks are great, thanks all.
