we recently had a combi boiler installed. It comes on about 7 a.m. and goes off at 10 p.m. We usually have heating thermostat set about 18 -20 and it works well until about 2 p.m. and then the whole house starts getting cold and and we are left shivering until we turn thermostat up to almost 30. We've put an ordinary thermostat in main room to check what the actually temperature is and its showing about 12 - 14 so can't understand why at around the same time everyday the heat seems to switch off. Anyone knows why this drop in temperature is occurring.

Hello Jenzie, :welcome:
does sound strange, is the room thermostat in the same room you put the other thermostat?
was it fine before the boiler change, did this start immediately the new boiler was fitted?
