Hi all. Our Ideal Isar combi boiler wasn't igniting, so we had a plumber come out during the week to fix it. He said it was a dirty spark electrode (at least I think that's what he called it), so he fixed it and the boiler started working again.

However, since then our water doesn't get anywhere near as hot as it did, and even then it goes cold again after a minute or so. The upstairs water pretty much cuts off if someone runs a tap downstairs. The boiler also makes a continuous whirring sound now when it's on, and the pressure valve goes up and down in time with the sound every couple of seconds (between roughly 1 - 1.5 on the valve).

If anyone has any advice I'd be very grateful. Thanks.
