Good Afternoon Gentlemen,
I was wondering if you could answer this somewhat vague question?
My mate has just phoned me and said that over christmas the water to his house froze, its all ok now but since then the combi boiler is not heating the hot water, the cenral heating is fine its just the water coming out of the hot tap does not get hot!!!!!!
i know this is a vague question and dont expect many answers as i do not know the make or the capacity of the combi boiler, bust seeing as you guys can mostly figure this stuff out i thought it would be worth a try posting on here.....
thanks for your help...

I am a level 2 plumber who has just started out on my own, i know i cannot touch gas and i dont know to much about boilers, but if its something simple i will be more than able.....

Cheers
Kev

it will be more than simple and unfortunately you wont be able to do it

sounds like a diverter valve or flow switch damged by the frozen pipe

wouldn't expect it to be the heat exchanger
