Came across a few today on an estate, had no p.r.v on them going to outside.

I at risked it, but then went across the road an came across the same ?

I noticed I could see hardly any blow off pipework on houses, got in the loft an it still fed off the tank ??

what would you do in this position ? Recommend making it mains ? Still A.R them ?

thanks

Have seen types of storage combis where the heating side is open vent and the hot water is from the mains

Perfectly acceptable, I had a bit of a head scratch when I first saw on though!

Am I the only one who remembers when Worcester used to make a combi with an F&E tank perched on top of the casing?

I wonder if any of them are still running.

I remember changing a diverter on a Cdi, just when I got out of my time.

i felt like never doing this job again!!

I took one out of a place in Littlehampton about 4 years ago.
