combi prob please help

hi all
i have been called to a standard effiecency worcester 25 si that needs resetting pretty much everyday i think it the gas valve but the customer resets it before i get there each time any one got any ideas

tell the customer to leave it be and get there once it is at fault!

tried they say ok i get there and its running again they are not very helpful but tell me the red light flashes once per second

i am not to hot on worcester boilers but have you checked the manual? the 1 'flash' a second may be a fault code?

check to see if the boiler gets too hot and shuts down
close all the rads but one and fire up the boiler it should get hot pretty quick and check if to see if the gas valve shuts down before it cuts out
put a manometer on the burner side of the gas valve to record what is happening

is the fan ok common fault on worcesters fans play up before failing any noise when its running?

fan sounds ok doesnt appear to be any problems will check the gas valve again but it resets everytime which doesnt help.
