Does anyone know the regs on these, ie if one is not present. If so are there any TB on this. Had a search on GS website and couldn't find anything.

Thanks

I've seen companies fitting these 4-5 years after appliances have been installed. I thought maybe it was a new thing. has it got any thing to do with shared flues? I know in commercial catering a interlock has to be provided on the from fan to appliances but is this not the case on open flued commercial appliances?

No it's not.

But having said that if a flue distillation system or a forced draught system for supply air is fitted then air pressure switches must be fitted to act as a safety interlock.

But again that's down to mi's rather than regulations.
