Hi folks,

Thanks for looking. I have a compact A that is loosing pressure. Expansion vessel holding charge, PRV not passing. No obvious signs of any leaks. I closed off ch pipes and still slowly loosing pressure, so must be on boiler.

Any thoughts on what might be leaking? Also no pass down condensate pipe when left off and not used.

Thanks for the help.

Duncan.

have you tried turning the hot and cold off ?

Try running the boiler and checking the condensate, last one i had dropped liked a stone when the heat opened up a crack in the HE. Must be the HE

Do these have secondary heat exchangers had a couple of these cracking in other boilers

Not had any dealings with them tbh. I think all boilers are susceptible to it with the materials used today.
