Hi,
At one of my good customers today who is getting the run around.
Problem Hot water goes cold at taps/shower/basin/sink after a few mins.
BG yesterday said its not the boiler, its the balancing, so he called me to have a look.
I get there, shut of the cold to the taps (all single lever) and let it run, the H/W reaches about 30degC and stays there.
Looking about the boiler I turn up the output to H/W (think it was a gloworm) but no difference, then feeling the pipes to see where the heats going - boilers firing up ok, I feel loads of hot water (70/80deg) pouring down the Condensate Pipe.
Not being gas I stop there, note all the other problems and let him know its not the balancing.
Questions is, what has to go to cause drop in tap temp and loads of water down the cond pipe? I tried google but its overrun with frozen Conds at the moment
He had BG in servicing and cleaning out the exchange and replace the pressure switch couple of months back.
cheers, Antony.
