Hi all, i will be installing sa system soon and this will be the first time i have had to use a condensate pump, are they easy enought o wire up and are there any points i should be wary of?

It is a Saurrman pump if that helps, a 2 core and a 3 core, one for power and one to interuppt the supply to boiler, this is the one i am unsure about

Cheers all

Wiring diagram will explain all , its dead easy . There is a float switch that interupts supply if pump fails and floods .

Appreichiate the reply, but i am wiring this up to a boiler which has an internat programmer, i am guessing it must be wired to interrupt the mains supply via a terminal block....or am i talking s..t!!

It just interupts the live feed to the boiler. Check the current rating though to make sure its ok . You can wire an alarm in as well .
If you arn't sure get a spark in, it shouldnt cost much

i will ave a look, might get a sparky in so i know for the future so i will get it right on any more i have to wire up, probably the best bet...cheers
