I am not a plumber and have a very limited knowledge of such matters.

1. I have a largish 3 storey house with underfloor heating (installed 10 years ago).
2. I have an Immergas - Victrix condensing boiler (installed 5 years ago) and an external Grundfos pump (installed 2 years ago).

3. Last week the boiler stopped working with error-10 which apparently means a loss of pressure. However, the pressure is indicated as 2-bar on the boiler.

4. I noticed that the boiler WILL WORK is I turn the speed of the pump to setting number 2. (There are 3 settings).

Question : WHY am I forced to change the pump setting to 2 ? When I change the pump setting to 3 the boiler cuts out with the error.
