Had the owner of an estate agency ask me the above question. This happens regardless of the fact whether the boiler is on or off. The boiler has been moved as part of an extention done by a builder 5months ago ( yes i know the alarm bells are ringing ). I last went to the boiler, prior to its removal, about 12 months ago and if my memory is correct it is an Halstead. Any heads up would be appreciated.

:iagree: most likely suspect is the flue running down rather than up if it's condensing :) May also be a passing prv that happens to be in line with the flue?

Also if your doing any the landloard cert on it check it throughly if a " BUILDER HAS MOVED IT "

That was my first question to her but she couldn't tell me but what threw me was the fact that she states that it never stops and she is catching it in a bucket. Job 20miles away and shes not asked me to go yet but apart from the aforementioned possible thing, i couldn't think of anything else and the old crystal ball is away for recalibrating!!

Where are you getting your crystal ball done, mine hasn't been calibrated for over 2 years, well over due?

Could even be a broken gutter seal TBH! My ball could do with a polish :)

Maybe something like a pinched seal I've been out to a couple of these where they have not de-burred the seal has been pinched as they force it together.
