Hi all,
A quick query to controls for an Ideal Vogue 32kw/40kw that I will be fitting for a customer in the next few weeks.
Basically I am looking for the best control setup for him. His old combi boiler is located in the garage attached to his house on the far wall.
Would the ideal rf programmable clock/stat work on this setup to allow him to have control in the comfort of his house or are there better options out there. Ideally plug and play but if fully hardwired in I can get a sparky to do that for me,
Any advice greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
Andy (Allgoode)

Agreed it's a good unit and you get 10 years warranty on it as well as the boiler

Thanks for the advice there. It looks like a good bit of kit.

My main concern was range to control the boiler which will be located in the same place as the old one in the attached garage whilst the stat will be in the lounge but I guess the only way to find out is to actually try it. Fingers crossed not going to be a pointless expensive exercise if i go for it & find that it does not have the range.

Personally I like the look of it and after reading the spec doc it seems simple for customers to operate as well in the event of them playing around with it after i initially setup the system.

Cheers again and if anyone has practical experience of range limitations with this or similar i would be greatful,

Andy

I ve fitted a lot of the vogues with the ideal rf programmable stat in, no range problems at all. When I ve spoken to ideal about this before the only problem they said they really come across is really thick walls affecting the range occasionally. If you re in standard sized cavity wall construction house you should be fine.

Cheers for that.
House is standard construction thankfully & not granite walls like a lot of older places down here which kills off any wifi type communications rangewise.
I will advise customer that these are very good and have the additional benefit of the 10yr warranty,
Andy
