ADVICE on CONVERTING PUMPED CENTRAL HEATING GRAVITY HOT WATER TO FULLY PUMPED

Hi advice needed please, looked at a job recently which required a cylinder change due to pin hole. Currently the cylinder is heated by gravity 28mm flow & return going to oil fired boiler, and another separate flow & return on boiler for central heating. The current system does not have a room or cylinder stat, but has a programmer which appears to be able to heat hot water & heating separately!!! So not sure how this is wired up. So the new cylinder would require a stat but not sure how this would be tacked on to existing system and how to convert pipe work.
Thanking you in anticipation for your advice.

Steve
