cooker fault

the by pass on main oven is fine,but it will not turn up,does that mean the thermostat is not working or is it the ffd not allowing gas through so is it that ,what is the best way to determine what it is, any thoughts

If the thermostat was not working it would not go back to low flame after coming on to full flame.

If the FSD is at fault then the flame will not go to full as above.

as stated only by pass, does not come on at full rate

check the probe is positioned in the flame so that it picks up the heat from the low flame and expands the liquid to open the gas valve to full flame, if it is positioned in the flame then the valve is jamming and not opening, hard to say if it can be repaired, prob easier to renew it
