I have a gloworm compact boiler about 10yrs old and i must admit never had serviced for 5yrs or so,the problem is when i put HW tap on it does take longer than normal to get hot,and if i turn the tap on full it does go cool,(not hot enough to wash with)if i turn the tap back down it goes hot but is just over trickeling from tap,i can fill up sink but it does take longer than normal and gets the girlfriend annoyed cause she got about as much patience as aa dog on heat lol,i have adjusted the tiny adjustment screw on the boiler for the HW but it is now at full adjustment and really has left me baffled, the water pressure where i am is not any higher than normal pressure, could it just be a simple service for the boiler or could it be a new boiler, any advice greatly appreciated..........cheers.........

using the powers of observation that can be used through this forum I would suggest that the money you have saved by not having your appliance serviced regularly is now coming back to bite you on the backside so get over it and call out a GSR or why not find one on here who is local to you
