Hi,

I wonder if I could have some advice please. I have a rental shepherds hut with an outdoor copper bath. I expect to close down for winter when the weather gets very cold. The majority of the piping is blue mdpe which is lagged. But where it joins the tap it's copper. I have lagged what I can but I do have a drain cock. And I was wondering how to get this part lagged?

Any ideas would be appreciated.
Many thanks John

Either buy some thick walled climaflex and adapt it to suit by cutting a recess .
Or wrap it using a wrap lagging.

Presumably you’ll isolate and drain it when not in use/ very cold, so it is not that important to lag in that scenario .

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I'll drain it off when we close. I was thinking this would do the trick from Screwfix (see attached image)?
