Friends

Gets a question for you.

A customer office has asked if copper will kill a large root?

I think you need to drill the root & hammer a bit of copper in.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

I have heard about this but it's not a quick process from what I've heard.

I hear if you get a copper nail & hammer it into a tree, it will destroy it eventually.

Solder a cap on either end, drill a hole, fill it with gunpowder and it will kill most things.

drill it like bod says, and fill with diesel, a gardener friend tells me that pasteurised full fat milk works better than diesel however.

old wives tales, just poisons the soil and ticks off your water co covering things with dieso :)

Get a chainsaw cut some deep slots in a diamond pattern into top of stump. Bacteria and water will kill it in few months
