Discuss CP12 cert received after diagnosing faulty item in the boiler? in the Boilers area at Plumbers Forums

As a landlord, I am surprised a CP12 cert can be issued when the issuing engineer has diagnosed a faulty component within the boiler.
The component in question is an automatic air vent for a Vallaint EcoTek 615 system boiler.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

I look forward to your reply,
Kind regards,
Roy
