I was reading about CT 1 Silicone Sealant from Migoplumber who repaired his swimming pool.

Did a little bit of research (I am an anorak) and found a couple of clips on youtube. I can't link them here but this CT1 is very impressive. Well worth a look.

If you get 5 minutes and have got nothing better to do at 8.30am on Sunday morning give it a look.

I now have a case of it on its way to me..............

have you got a information lead to the utube bits?

i was shown ct1 about 3 months ago, never looked back, however never got to use it in a true PADDLING pool emergency in a true underwater emergency.

its not that its not a swimming pool, just a large paddling pool, dont want to boast about something i dont have.

suppose it depends how big you are, a 12inch tall bloke, would call it an olympic size pool.

just trying to apologise for the misrepresentation of my 10ft round 1metre deep pool.

i know have to apologise for stealing your thread.

sorry

shaun

Have a look at this mate, no apology necessary. I saw this after reading about your paddling pool (couldn't resist that) and thought it was really interesting.

I googled it by typing in ct1 sealant theres a couple of links :D

Hi all
Over the years I have been looking for a sealant that can temporarily repair certain hot water cylinders that are not standard sizes and therefore not held in stock with merchants , and can take a week to order. not wishing to leave customers with out hot water for a week do you think this item would work, because every other product I has tried has always failed.
also anyone know who stocks this product.
regards
Mike

Hi,
very sorry to bother you & I may not even be doing this right as I'm not very computer literate. Could you tell me from where you managed to order your case of C.T.1. I have only been able to find suppliers selling single tubes and the P&P is horrendous. Any information would be much appreciated.

Milliput does it for me every time, once sealed a split 75 Gallon CWST while it was full in a Labour Club with it and it's still there 10 years later!Google it it's in my bag and always will be

Its good stuff but quite messy, you really need to buy the spray to go with it. Dow Corning do a similar product called 'the works' which is a bit easier to work with.
