Who do you lot use? yet another barny with the boys that are barclays. They sting you at every bloody move. Enough is enough. Had a good look on moneysupermarket But for the benefit of conversation and some personal pro's/con's i thought i would ask you lot.

Its like going out of the frying pan and into the fire when changing banks,all a load of rubbish if you are looking for service,I am with Barclays,have been for years,would not recommend them to anyone,that speaks for its self
Bank charges can be kept down by moving regularly,as most banks give a period of free banking on new accounts
A new bank was launched last week,seem to have good offers on business and normal accounts,worth a look

The last straw was them charging me £4.50 to order some euros through travelex uk because they had they best rate. The cheek of me eh? trying to get the best for my money and not using barclays rubbish currency exchange rate.

Will probably end up with with a santander current account. Recently moved the business account over to them from barclays as well.

Not entirely sure on that. Id of assumed business was good for them after snapping up Abbey, Alliance & Leicester, Bradford & Bingley & a good portion of RBS during the meltdown. Second biggest banking group in the world.

Ive two current accounts - Nat west provide good service but nationwide are cheaper - However I couldn't pick one over the other which says it all really!

So do I but it still knocks the profits and still more money you have to make to survive as a small business. I could buy a whole pack of 15mm pipe for the fees I have to pay.

Santander Business no charges ! if you keep to their limits which are quite generous
Was the same with Abbey before take over
I left Barclays due to charges and a business banker who did not know how VAT worked !!!!!!!!!🙄

im with alliance and leister which is now santander for the first time in 5 years i went overdrawn so they sent me a letter saying as this wasnt a regular ocurence they wouldnt charge me how good is that
