Hi Everyone

I often turn up for an appointment with a client about a plumbing issue but the customer is not there when I call. When I phone them to rearrange they do not get back to me. Does this often happen to anyone else? Extremely frustrating especially when work is scarce!

Yeah maybe a couple of times a month , what also happens is "customers" phoning up just for plumbing advice so they can fix the problem themselves.
:)

when some plumbers think your on the up this kind of thing happens.
i open my 1st shop some 12 years ago , then the calls started again.
that life

have you been talking up your company?

big bro watching you.

Its always going to happen

People have no lobger got the manners to call you up to say the dont want the work or they have found someone else to do it. another plumber or relative perhaps.

Pop a card through the door with your name and number on, a business card, to show you turned up and walk away without wasting any more time on it. You may have lost this client but you have showed you are true to your word and kept the appointment. They may have genuinely missed the appointment so they now have your card
