A while ago Ray Stafford offered some free Black Mamba gloves to members. I was lucky enough to get a box, but with one thing and another, a couple of weeks passed before I realised that they hadn't arrived. I was a little disappointed but not that bothered - they were freebies, so no monetary loss to me.

Not wanting Ray to think I was being ungrateful and not reviewing the product, I PM'd him to let him know. The very next day, Tony from Williams and Co was on the phone - as I hadn't been in, the courier had not left them, but they would resend them, with instructions to leave with a neighbour if necessary. Ray also contacted me to say that he'd asked the manufacturer to send another box to me direct.

Today, the original ones turned up, with a pack of Jelly Tots, no less, and a lovely letter from Ray, saying that he knew I was unlikely to be a regular customer because of where I'm based, but hoping that I'd enjoy the freebie anyway!

What company these days would go to this much trouble, even for a paying customer? Despite knowing full well that he probably wouldn't get a lot of business from me, Ray went above and beyond what most firms would do, and I wanted to show my appreciation publicly.

This is a top-notch company, and I will be buying a great deal of my supplies from them once their e-commerce site is up and running. I would seriously recommend everybody else to try them out, too!

Oh, and PS, I'm not on commission, nor was I bribed - the missus ate the Jelly Tots! :)

Well done Ray, by the way my pump, gloves, pump valves didn't turn up either:candycane2:

Beyond the call of duty if you ask me well done Ray nice one...regards turnpin
