Cylinder replacement

Have a customer who has a leaking cylinder and it's a Fortic indirect with 28mm connections to coil. Is there any way of getting a cylinder for this or will it have to be upgraded to fully pumped etc as regs?

No, we sell RM, and it isn't a problem having such a cylinder made, but you really ought to be upgrading it to fully pumped. You know it makes sense.

clean it up with a wire brush and some steel wool , then solder it

Is it on the tank top? If it is be very carful, be thinner than a 2000 year old kitkat wrapper!

We used to get specials made by Gledhills who will do custom made to your specs. It is particularly useful if you want a replacement for something like an built in old Elson.

If you ever want a special made we just fill in a 'special made' cylinder sheet and email those dimensions to them, you can get the sheet free here, it's got us out of a hole occassionally when other cylinders won't fit in the gap!!
