Danfoss ras-C2 angled thermostic tvr. what way does the arrow face on the flow sde. It's pointing down the way on factory settings. Should it point upwards.

Hi thanks just wanted to check they were fitted some years ago by plumbers apprentice. Only now noticed when I was replacing a radiator. Has been working ok.

I don't know but I guess it just increases spring resistance to stop valve hammering shut if on return side and doubt it matters much
