Delay in power shower.

I had a new power shower pump installed about two years ago as the previous one was leaking. For quite some time the pump kicked in immediately the tap was turned on. However recently there is a delay of up to three seconds. Is there anything I can do about this?

First point is to check any filters on the inlet side are clear.

Managed to check them,and they're clear.
