Hi guys, thanks in advance for any help!

My boiler (combi logic 30) has started playing up:

CH works fine no problems.

Hot water works for 3-5 minutes then the boiler locks out (pump overrun +fan post purge) then have to wait 5 minutes before getting water through. Water is nowhere near as hot as it used to be as well. (Radiators are scalding though)

Hot water also only seems to activate at all when tap or shower is switched on fully to kick the boiler in.

So far as I can tell this would be a diverter valve problem and possibly heat exchange one as well (causing the boiler to lock out?)

Just want to know what it may be before I call someone out!

Your best bet is to get a gas safe engineer out to look at it for you and give you a diagnosis, could be a number of things but wouldn't be the right thing to comment on here for obvious reasons (people trying to fix there own boilers).
Do you live in a hard water area?

Good luck

Only advise we can give is call a gas safe engineer or post your location on here and one of the guys might be nearby
