Disposing of waste materials

Hi all
I am wondering what people in the industry normally do with waste materials (I.E toilets,basins baths and general waste from a job).Do you put it in your car and take it to the tip or do you take it in your van and get charged for dumping? If you get charged what sort of charges are they and are they the same regardless of load?
What do you charge the customer?
If you do charge are they happy to pay or do they generally complain?
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated

Im pritty sure if you tend to have a lot you need a waste licence. Other then that if its not to much, bung it in your car and through in the local skip.

Pipework you can re-use if its ok !

Interesting point.

I worked for a company and introduced a £1 charge per bag of rubble on a bill. As we may go to a job and only get perhaps a bag or so of rubble off each job. So we stored it until we got a skip.

At the time it covered skip hire and a bit for handling.

Nobody seemed to mind and after all it does seem fair.

Soon we will need a licence to get a licence.....

To tip rubbish in our local tip you need a HiVis jacket Hardhat and Steel capped boots.

Surely you also forgot to add dust mask,earplugs and goggles and overalls and gloves.
I think I will pack this game in and open up a PPE supplies outlet at my local tips LOL
