Diverter valve issue

Hi guys I have a diverter valve on a Main combi 24 he and the diaphram had split causing the rod not to push out and hit the micro switch, I changed the diaphragm and got the rod to come out and hit the switch but the hot water is not getting hot as its heating the heating side, I usually just change the diverter valve on these but that means ordering parts, whats the next step to fix the issue without having to buy a diverter valve? Get someone else to buy the divertor valve ?

Buy a service kit.

and make sure the plates not blocked
