Had a call a month or so ago on my voice mail from an Estate Agent very annoyed with me,saying I promised to repair a heating system at a flat, and had'nt ,as tenant back from holiday that day, this is a big problem as tenant would have no heating on return,as I am quite reliable they were very disappointed and hoped I had good reason for not doing ect ,ect
I rang back and explained did not under stand, works had been done, new 3 port valve, room theremostat and repaired suprima board
Puzzeled ,they said they would check and find out what had happens......turns out after they rang back tenant that.......
Tenant was returning next day and rang friend to see if works had been done, friend went round to see, rang back and told her no,works could not have been done because there was no mess and the flat was to tidy to have had any works been done !!!!
yeh Ok 🙁

I mention this now because today I replaced a boiler,in clear view in the kitchen, got a call tonight from tenant, annoyed because I had promised to go today and replace there troublesome boiler,I said I had and surely she could tell this, she replyed that she had not been home yet but she had checked with her new flat mate and she had thought it could not have been changed as there was no mess in the kitchen and all was nice a clean with no dust anywere 🙁
Maybe the above people work in call centres or advertising sales depts

UNBELIEVABLE.
now i know why my gaffa always tells me to leave all old parts on the job, pumps timers etc, cause it 'blong to mick'. so they no its been changed.lol

are you quiet as well?

Maybe you should get the hammer drill out and make some noises so a tenant doesn't forgot your there as well

Hey next time take a tuppaware box of dust to sprinkle after

OR THERE JUST STUPID tenants the bain of my life, they wont get up,wont stay in ,wont ring back but complain when your 15 mins late even though you try to ring them and there phones turned off

I had a customer who wasn't in when I called. Car was gone.

He said I should have knocked louder. I said I did and told him I also phoned him and heard the phone ring and it wasn't answered!

Did the same just before Christmas. Had arranged with lady to come and fix the shower. Car gone, knocked, rang bell and phoned, just to hear the phone ring unanswered.

The lady phoned me back to ask where I was and I said I had been round but nobody in. Turns out lady had gone to neighbours and the husband had never got round to getting a new battery for his hearing aid.

yea winds you up though we bill landlords £25 pound if tenants dont allow access when we set jobs up thats the agreement we have with the letting agency
