I've noticed my downstairs radiators haven't been coming on this week (I know- it's august- this is for drying clothes!). I'll check the motors are running after work tonight and bleed the rads, but after looking into the set up of my airing cupboard, which as you can see from the picture is a catastrophe in itself, I have 2 grundfos 15/50 pumps side by side. Is this normal for a victorian 5 bed? It used to be two semis before I moved in, so I'm not sure that has anything to do with it.
If the motor has burned out and i do need to replace it, which would sound about right for this moneypit of a house, would the advice be to replace it like for like, or get a different pump for the job?
Also I looked at double head pumps, and the results are all for commercial properties, so it doesn't seem right to have one of those in situ.
Thanks in advance for any wisdom...
