Installed a new heat only boiler the other day onto an existing S-Plan plus system.Fitted a new pump also.Initially everything seemed to work ok but now downstairs isn't heating.Replaced zone valve to downstairs thinking it would be that but it still isn't getting downstairs. Could it be something as simple as an air lock or sludge/blockage? Tried turning all rads off bar one downstairs, still nothing coming down.Any ideas?

[ / blockage get a plumber in[/QUOTE] Surley the post would indicate the op is a plumber

Proberbly air 9x out of 10 is see if you get water from f&r and gets hot, unless water was particuly sludgey when u drained down

Presumably you've checked the pump is actually pumping? And is it bled properly? Also, what happens when you move the zone valve manually to open it?
