Hi all.

What at is the best method to blank off the shower waste or pipe itself to pass a drain test?

Fill the trap with water and make sure the top covers on and its sealed, is it just a standard main drain bung air test ?

It just seems to not hold at all though then when we put a cloth in the pipe itself it starts holding but has a slight drop as still not fully air tight. With shower trap in and cover on it isn't even starting to hold

and it's an air test, council are doing it for a new build
