Hi, I need to drain my vokera 29 boiler in the attic as Im going away for 4 weeks at least to
make sure there are no frozen pipes.
In my small 3rd floor flat, I have a radiator in the front room and one in the hall (very close to each other),
there is a drainage valve on one of these.

My back bedroom has a radiator with another drainage valve this one is seperate to the other two, the pipes from the attach come down to that near the wall there.

So I guess I just turn my boiler off at the fuse box switch next to it and then just open up the drainage valves in both radiator systems. Then close the valves?

I guess I also can turn all the water off for my sink and bath etc to make sure.

Last time the plumber did it, there is also an overflow pipe coming directly out of the boiler and emerging out of the back wall outside, however there is not valve attached to that.

This may sound like a silly question but once the boiler has drained, will it not just fill up again?
Or does this only happen once I turn it on again and go through the refilling process?

I really would prefer to find a plumber to do this but its impossible here. It be amazing if anyone can offer any tips/ideas, I am away in 3 days and none of the plumbers have even rung back.
Thanks,
