Hello guys, i gotta do some home diy and it says in the manual to use a pre drill holes with 5/16 bit.

What size drill bit is that for sds/masonary i usually go by sizes eg. 7mm ect.

5/16" = 7.9375mm (according to good ol' google)

So 8mm drill bit

My first answer was edited - read the wrong column!

Trouble is you can work it out in a jiffy when the bits are in front of you. Well, that's my excuse!!
