I have a dripping bath tap. Seperate to the spout. Quarter turn level tap from the wall.

I need to change the cartridge as it’s dripping lots but can’t seem to work out how to remove the housing. Has this been installed badly behind the tiles?

In the second picture it looks like there are threads in the chrome part where it meets the brass valve body.
I'd say the chrome part will unscrew, revealing a nut on the cartridge, it may need the tile grout scraping away from it first.

Caution where actually unscrewing the cartridge in case the body isn't fixed to the backing, the pipework may move leaving you with a hidden leak.
