Hi all, bit of a novice on this but here goes. I have noticed that the Tundish is dripping constantly alongside my Tribune HE cylinder. The Central Heating and Hot Water system are working fine it appears. There are two expansion vessels above the cylinder one small red one with the pressure gauge showing 1 bar pressure. However the other, a Zilmet white expansion vessel, appears to be depressurised to 0 bar from the recommended 3 bar. Is this a potential reason for it dripping? If it is, do I simply close the cold water tap near the cylinder, drain the hot water via a hot water tap until empty. Then Pump the white vessel up with a bike pump to 3 bar, close the hot water tap and then open the cold water main tap again? Does this sound right as a starting point?

Cheers Ross C

That is about all there is to it but you should really get these units serviced annually by a suitably qualified plumber to check the safe operation of all the components.
Don't wait until something happens.

sounds good, but this must of happened for a reason, check your incoming mains pressure and pressure reducing valve
