drugasar art signs of spillage

Hi I had to condem two drugasar art gas wall heaters yesterday because they had signs of spillage. On the wall behind them
Were to black spillage marks it looks like the spillage was coming from the flu bolts
Was the right thing to do. Could I have done more to get to the bottem if the problem. thanks

could be heat marks
but also be spillage could you seal bolts with a heat proof silicone or silver tape what did you tell customer.

It also had the spillage marks on the flu bolts. I blanked off the heater and it will need replacing
