hi,this is my first post and came across this site ,when looking for info regarding my clicking room stats.i have had a complete new heating system installed,a vaillant system boiler and sealed tank,twin zone and all new pipework and rads.
the system works fine and does the job,but the room stats are driving me nuts!!
ok they click on and off during the time the boiler/heating is set to be on,and that is bad enough,but the continue to chatter every ten minutes or so,like a couple of bored monkeys during the night,even though the heating is off.
i have enquired to the plumber who was tasked to fit the system,and now he has been paid,seems of have lost interest in customer service regarding in coming up with a solution/cause....i had asked for a quote to upgrade to wireless ,in the hope that the main switching could be in the loft,but was told it cannot be done,and the wireless stats would still click???
i'm not into telling tales,just would like some pointers and advice in regards a solution and perhaps why,the stats still click even through the heating is off.
